Back At School

Wow! It's been so long since I blogged. So I'm moved in my apartment here back at school. All decorated...in pink AS ALWAYS :) I love it. It is definitely my home away from home and I love it being pink. Missed my room mates and so glad we are back together! I am active in the BCM again, and it is great fun. We have a fall festival coming up and I will be going as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, and I am super excited about that. Pictures to be posted for sure on that! I am actively looking for a job, and have been since July. I had an interview with Buckle at the mall yesterday and should hear from that in the next few days (fingers definitely crossed on that!) 40% discount if I work there, and I definitely would love the clothes, haha. This month is pretty good, only two tests and fall break is right around the corner. After Halloween I know that I will be in full fledged Christmas mood. (I am already!). Tommy will be here in November, and I already am trying to book my flight to California, so expensive :-P. Yesterday was our 14 months, it seems time has passed by so fast. Distance is not fun. That is for sure. I am so ready for him to be back here. I need a date night, haha. Well I am about to get up, get some food, get ready for TNL at the BCM tonight, and head that way. Hope everyone had a blessed day!

Mississippi Braves & Tommy's 22nd

So it has been AWHILE! I'm a loser for not writing I know. Tommy got moved up on July 3rd to the Mississippi Braves and it has been an amazing journey so far. He loves it there and is doing very well! Tomorrow I will travel to the Smokies to watch him play. Tomorrow is also is 22nd birthday, and I am very excited to watch him open his gifts :) For now I still need to clean my room and pack and it is only 5 hours before time to get up. I will be so excited to see him again, even though it has only been one week! Until then...see ya later!

Lounging With Wedding Movies

Once again I am up late, although I do feel sleep coming on. I again, woke up super late. I felt bad, but after not going to sleep till 4am I needed the rest. I woke up, and pretty much lounged around the house all day. I watched Michael Jackson's interview with Oprah back in 1993 and was compelled. It definately made me think about how I feel on his lifestyle choices. Had one of my favorite meals today as well, crescent chicken. Oh goodness it was so wonderful! All thanks to my roomie, Tiffany, who gave me the recipe! After eating, me and mom watched Bride Wars. It was my first time watching it and I liked it. It didn't make my top ten, but definately a good movie. Talked to Tommy once again online tonight after his game. He was super tired, and I super miss him. However, I know it won't be long till I see him again. Later on, after not being able to sleep I watched half of 27 Dresses with my little brother. I know you are asking yourself, "Whats with all the wedding movies?" Haha! I don't know myself! Just happened that way. Speaking of movies and weddings let me take a brief moment to promote The Proposal with Sandra Bullock. I saw it Sunday, great movie! Haha! Well maybe I can go get some sleep now. Until tommorrow. Sweetdreams Everyone.

Rome Braves & Sweetdreams

Well today, I finally got caught back up on my rest and slept till 1:30pm. I know, terrible of me isn't it. But, it is so hard to wake up with the comfort of your sheets wrapped around you like a cocoon. I finally got up and spent some time with my grandmother, and returned home to shower. I went to the Rome Braves game...alone. Everyone was busy, but I didn't mind the peaceful drive up there by myself. I never even got to my seat, but spent time with season ticket holders sharing baseball stories and gossip. I love talking about baseball and being at the field was just like old times. It is so great to go back and be greeted by season ticket holders, ushers, and the fans. It means a lot to me that they remember who I am, and like me enough to approach me. I love to hear how their lives are going, as well as share stories about my own. The Braves ended up and won which is always a good thing! I stayed after with my friends and talked to the players, most of whom I didn't know, but they knew me as "Tommy's Girlfriend", which doesn't bother me at all. They all had great things to say about him and thats always something that puts a smile on my face. I stayed a little bit longer and headed on back home, exhausted from the heat. I immediately did my nightly ritual of talking to Tommy on Skype for some time, and read the Bible together which is a great ending to each and every one of my days. It is also a time that brings us together even more and I love it. We said our goodnights and he of course being tired from getting his fifth save drifted off to sleep. Me however, I can hardly ever sleep, but I am hoping the sand man will come soon and I will drift off to sleep. I told Tommy I would meet him in my dreams...I guess better go...I'm sure he is waiting on me :)
